it's all about the conversation, much like twitter & seesmic in their respective areas.
how do you create passionate students? scientific papers as a social object? what'sTED + twitter?
Interesting topic Basti...
To create passionate students I think the 'system' should chage...the environment in which students study and learn should evolve.
